degtodec.sh
degtodec.sh is a script which does conversion between decimal numbers and degree values (degrees, minutes, seconds, or hours, minutes, seconds). Possible input methods are: interactively, by parameter, or directly via stdin.
What for?
Well, that's quite simple: for example for astrological calculations (rhythms, ...), geographical conversions (longitudes and latitudes) etc.
Usage
Using degtodec.sh is quite straightforward. The input values are recognized by the separators: Points for decimal numbers, colons for degree values. I find screenshots can tell you more about it than many words ;-)
