Here you find some of Conny's goodies for several programs:
On this page I provide some small things for you, let's say, a pot full of assorted goodies, most of them for linux programmes. Up to now there are:
- for the game GLines a theme with nice balls
- for Frozen-Bubble a levelset and another "loser image"
- for wmbutton a different pixmap
- a number of wallpapers
All of the goodies you may download here are put to your free disposal. Even though they are no programmes, precautionary I place them under the GPL. So at least everybody knows what I mean by "free disposal" :-) More detailed information about the GNU General Public License you can find on http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html.
GLines theme
GLines, also called Five or More is a small game with balls or other objects, and part of the gnome games.
I simply felt like designing some balls myself, so I created such a theme using Inkscape in SVG format. You may download it here. It's free. There's no guarantee, not even if you might like it :-)
To make the ball theme available, it just needs to get copied in in the appropriate directory.
- On my Debian system it is "/usr/share/pixmaps/glines/".
- On SuSE 9.2 it was "/opt/gnome/share/pixmaps/glines/".
I have no idea, where it is located now on SuSE - I stopped using it.
Anyway, if necessary the output of "locate glines | grep pixmaps" could help you find the proper directory.

Goodies for Frozen-Bubble
Frozen-Bubble is a lovely game with coloured bubbles and a certain craze factor. Two goodies for frozen-bubble I'd like to place at your free disposal:
Levelset
My levelset contains 60 levels, which I sorted by degree of difficulty as best as possible. Attention: Some of the levels are really difficult. But they are all solvable. I've managed it umpteen times already.
To use it just save the levelset in "$HOME/.fblevels". If not existent the directory has to be created. For it to be possible to still play the original levels, too, we had to copy them into this directory as well respectively create a link with "ln -s /usr/share/games/frozen-bubble/data/levels $HOME/.fblevels/original_levels".
After that on starting the game you're being asked which level to choose.
Have fun :-)

Lose Panel
The original "loser image" did not appeal to me, therefore I changed it and replaced the original one on my system. There were times when I just didn't want to be called a loser, when once more I didn't manage to finish a level ...
The image "lose_panel.png" simply needs to be copied in the appropriate directory for frozen-bubble to find it. On Debian this is "/usr/share/games/frozen-bubble/gfx/". On other systems a "locate lose_panel.png" could help you find the right one.
Perhaps you'd like to save the original state beforehand. I prefer doing so, cause I never know - in case that suddenly I'd like to go back to the original.

wmbutton pixmap
wmbutton is an application launcher of 64 x 64 pixels which can be used as a dockapp. It displays 9 Buttons with which 27 programs can be started.
I felt like fitting it's appearance to my wishes, so I created a pixmap. And now I feel like sharing my settings (the image and my configuration file) with others.
The image, my personal configuration file and a README containing e.g. my wmbutton start command you can download here:

These are some of the wallpapers that I've made over the years. Each of them is 1280 x 1024 pixels in size.
